Welcome
The Highland Park Community Chorus (HPCC) of New Jersey has been enriching the lives of our listeners and singers since 1986. Its repertoire comprises all types of choral music with an emphasis on classical works. HPCC is comprised of adults of all ages and walks of life. They have one trait in common: their love of music and singing.
A new season is starting! Please join us Monday Sept 11th. (Auditions run for the first two weeks). Click Here to learn more!
Our Fall season comprises a compilation of pieces written by composers near and far, including a new piece by Shea Velloso called Blest Christmas Morn, a secular winter cantata by Martin Sedek, Gifts of the Season, selections from Marques Garrett's brand new collection, the Oxford Book of Choral Music by Black Composers, and two anthems by the Philadelphia-based Rutgers U. composition teacher, Melissa Dunphy. Some of our pieces are classics of the choral repertoire, such as O Magnum Mysterium and choruses from Handel's Messiah.
Our 2023 Winter concert is set for two nights: Friday December 8th and Saturday December 9th at 8pm.
Additionally we will be performing a concert in conjunction with other choruses and the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra on Sunday December 17th !
