The Highland Park Community Chorus (HPCC) is comprised of adult men and women of all ages and all walks of life. It has been in existence steadily since 1986 and is open to residents of Highland Park and its surrounding communities. Informally, chorus members participate in community events and, more formally and traditionally, the Chorus performs a concert twice a year. The chorus rehearses every Monday from 7:30 to 9:30pm, and always welcomes new members.
For the 2012 spring semester, the Highland Park Community Chorus will be performing a Brahms' "Neue Liebeslieder," Beethoven's "Elegischer Gesang," Faure's "Cantique De Jean Racine" as well as motets by Bruckner and Parry. Our concert will be Saturday May 12th at 8pm.
Rehearsals have just started, so now is a great time to join! Send someone you love a Valentine Song Gram sung by the Highland Park Community Chorus! Browse our website to learn more about the chorus, our members and our next concert.
